Using the tool

Focus Resume is a free tool for making resumes, cover letters and related documents. You may use it for personal or professional purposes. You may not use it to break the law, to make false documents that mislead others, or to harm, overload or interfere with the site.

Your content

You own the text and files you enter. They are stored in your own browser and are not uploaded to our servers. You are responsible for what you write and for making sure it is true and accurate. Please keep your own backup, because we cannot recover drafts that are lost when browser data is cleared.

Suggestions and scores

The ATS score, keyword match, checks, writing help, sample resumes, letters and interview questions are general guides. They are not professional advice, and they do not promise interviews, job offers or any result with a particular employer. Please read our Disclaimer.

Ads and other sites

The site may show ads and may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The service as it is

We provide Focus Resume "as is" and "as available". We try to keep it working, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or remove features at any time.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, or from being unable to use it, including lost drafts or files you create with it.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
