We cannot promise that a resume made with this tool will get you an interview or a job. Hiring decisions depend on many things we do not control.
About the ATS score and keyword match
The ATS score and keyword match are guides based on common resume rules. Every employer and every applicant tracking system works differently. A high score does not mean a particular system will rank your resume well, and a low score does not mean it will be rejected. We are not affiliated with any employer or ATS provider.
Imported text and cover letter drafts
When you import an old CV, the tool tries to guess your sections, jobs and dates, and it can make mistakes. The cover letter draft is a starting point built from what is in your resume. Always read and correct everything before you use it. You are responsible for the accuracy of what appears in your resume and cover letter. Please only include information that is true.
Your data and backups
Your drafts are stored only in your own browser. Clearing browser data, switching device or a browser problem can delete them, and we cannot recover them. Keep your own backup files. We are not responsible for any loss of data.
Downloads and formatting
PDF, Word and PNG files can look slightly different on different devices, programs and printers, because they depend on the fonts and software you use. Check every file before you send it to an employer.
Ads and third-party content
The site may show ads and may link to other websites. We do not control or endorse third-party content, products or services, and we are not responsible for them. Please read our Privacy Policy for more on ads.
Availability and changes
We try to keep Focus Resume working, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error-free or unchanged. We may add, change or remove features at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Focus Resume and its owners are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, the site or the files you create with it. You use the tool at your own risk.
